Keyamo claims that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the APC's presidential candidate, and two other front-runners were outperformed by Obi in a recent poll conducted by Anap Foundation and directed by Atedo Peterside.
The latest poll, according to Keyamo, was "deliberately manipulated" to boost the enthusiasm of Obi's followers, whose support had recently dropped.
Keyamo, also faulted the medium through which the poll was conducted.
Keyamo also criticized the method used to conduct the poll.
The Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) Atiku Abubakar and the New Nigeria People's Party's (NNPP) Rabiu Kwankwaso were the three candidates that participants and potential voters favored over incumbent Tinubu, according to a second survey released by Anap Foundation on Wednesday (NNPP).
Remember that in the recent survey issued in December, Peterside said that Obi had 23 percent, Tinubu had 13, Atiku had 10, and Kwankwaso had 2 percent.
Additionally, he stated that the poll was conducted using mobile phones due to the country's growing mobile phone usage, adding that a significant portion of the population is still unsure.
In a comparable survey conducted by Anap Foundation in September, Obi also placed first among the 17 contenders for the position of Aso Rock's top official in 2023.
Keyamo said the recent Anap's poll, which was completed at the end of December, a "fallacy" because it left many questions unaddressed.
