President Bola Tinubu has met with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, for a private dinner at the Élysée Palace in Paris.
The meeting took place on Thursday and was made public on Friday by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Onanuga, in a post on X, said the engagement between the two leaders highlighted the longstanding ties between Nigeria and France.
He added that the meeting also reflected their shared commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between both countries.
The dinner formed part of Tinubu’s engagements in France, where Nigeria and the European country continue to maintain diplomatic, economic and strategic relations.
