UAC of Nigeria Plc has notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited and the investing public of the planned retirement of Mr. Bolaji Odunsi, an Independent Non-Executive Director from the Board of Directors of the Company effective 31 March 2025.
Mr. Odunsi joined the Board in October 2018 and has been an invaluable member of the Board, contributing significantly to the growth and strategic direction of the Company. During his tenure, UAC benefited from his extensive expertise, strategic insights, and unwavering commitment to the Company’s vision of delivering sustainable value to all stakeholders.
Mr. Odunsi most recently chaired UAC’s Board Risk Management Committee providing valuable oversight of this important board function and contributing to improvement in operating performance and key financial metrics.
The Board expresses its profound gratitude to Mr. Odunsi for his exemplary service over the past six years. His contributions have left an enduring impact on UAC, and he will be greatly missed.
