The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Monetary Policy Committee has announced another increase in its Monetary Policy Rate (MPR), raising it to 27.25%.
The decision was made on Tuesday during the MPC meeting chaired by CBN Governor, Yemi Cardoso.
Cardoso, who announced the increase at a press conference on Tuesday after the committee’s 297th meeting in Abuja, said the increase was to further tame inflation
