Access Holdings Plc has announced the appointment of Mrs. Ibironke Adeyemi as an Independent Non-Executive Director, effective April 15, 2025. The appointment has received the necessary approval from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and has been duly communicated to all regulatory bodies.
Mrs. Adeyemi brings over three decades of robust experience in finance, corporate governance, and leadership to the board. Her professional journey spans audit, education, and the pharmaceutical industry, highlighting a versatile and impactful career.
Currently the Managing Director of Chrisland Schools Limited, a flagship brand under the Chrisland Group, Mrs. Adeyemi is widely recognized for her leadership in Nigeria’s private education sector. She also holds board positions at Chrisland University, Holy Trinity Hospital, and the Victor and Winifred Awosika Foundation, reflecting her deep involvement in educational and philanthropic initiatives.
Earlier in her career, she served as Executive Director at Chemo-Pharma Laboratories where she led several reforms to improve financial efficiency and operational performance. Her foundation in finance was laid at Peat Marwick Ani & Ogunde (now KPMG Nigeria), where she began her career as an audit trainee.
Mrs. Adeyemi holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, and a Master's in Educational Administration and Planning, all from the University of Lagos. She has also completed executive training at renowned institutions including Harvard Business School and Lagos Business School. A chartered accountant for over 30 years, she is a member of Rotary International and the Chartered Institute of Directors, Nigeria.
