Men of the Nigeria Police Force have rescued Mrs. Folasade Odumosu, wife of Hakeem Odumosu, former Assistant Inspector General, who was abducted on Thursday last week.
The Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed this on his official X handle on Thursday morning.
Adejobi added that the abductors of Mrs Folasade Odumosu were killed, and ransom used as bait was recovered from the culprits.
He said the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, commended the police operatives and the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo, for a good job.
Adejobi noted that the Police Force is committed to safeguarding Nigerian citizens and the country.
Mrs Odumosu was abducted last Thursday at the entrance of her residence in the Arepo area of Ogun State.
