A Bangkok clinic has disclosed that Nigerian-British businessman and social media influencer, Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, underwent five penis enlargement procedures in less than three years before his death in Thailand.
Ubiribo, 43, died in March 2026, shortly after undergoing his fifth procedure during a holiday in Thailand with his wife.
The disclosure was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday, September 8, by Thailand’s Department of Health Service Support, an agency under the Ministry of Public Health.
The department said it inspected the clinic on September 7 after receiving information about Ubiribo’s treatment history and the circumstances surrounding his death.
According to the clinic, Ubiribo first became a patient in 2024 and subsequently returned for four additional penile enlargement procedures.
The first four injections were administered between 2024 and 2025, while the fifth and final procedure took place on March 5, 2026.
The final treatment involved injecting 40cc of filler into his penis.
The clinic reportedly told investigators that the doctor had advised Ubiribo to have the final injection in two separate sessions rather than receiving the entire quantity at once.
However, the businessman allegedly opted for a single session.
“The doctor recommended dividing the injection into two sessions, but the patient preferred a single injection,” the Thai health authorities quoted the clinic as saying.
The clinic said it provided him with post-procedure instructions and conducted follow-up care after the treatment. It added that he did not complain of any problems related to the procedure during the follow-up.
Ubiribo also reportedly signed consent forms before each of the five procedures.
However, the situation took a tragic turn after the final treatment.
According to the authorities, an ambulance transported Ubiribo to hospital on March 5 after he lost consciousness.
His wife reportedly informed medical personnel that he had undergone a penile filler injection earlier that day and had subsequently gone for a massage.
The information supplied by his wife triggered further inquiries into the clinic where the procedure was performed.
The Department of Health Service Support subsequently inspected the facility on Rama 1 Road, in Bangkok’s Pathum Wan District, on September 7.
The authorities' statement confirmed Ubiribo's history of repeated penile enlargement procedures but did not state that the treatment was definitively responsible for his death.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death remains the subject of scrutiny by the Thai authorities.
