Ageless and tireless showbiz impresario, Emma Ogosi, says he still has a lot to offer to the showbiz industry and will continue to offer his best without the constraint of age as long as he has good health.

The Delta State-born, German trained aeronautics engineer-turned musician, said this as he prepares to drop another hit album, Senyiwa, next week.

The period, however, coincided with his discovery of the budding reggae singer, Evo Edna Ogholi whom he subsequently groomed, produced and later married.

The success of Evi Edna Ogholi-turned Ogosi who was later dubbed the reggae queen, thus became a major challenge as he ensured that all her albums were huge successes.

And as the industry eagerly await the new album, which is a blend of highlife, afrobeat and more, he promises that, "una go dance tire." Trust him! His major hits include Ebe Awelen Did (1981), Nobody knows, We can work it out, I love you, Ovindo, and A lonely child.

His marriage to Edna later became a source controversy, as she left and was reportedly hibernating in Paris France. Ogosi, in an interview with Vanguard said that after waiting or what he called "keeping faith", for nine years after her desertion, he has moved with another woman.

Emma Ogosi may not be a house hold name today, but history will forever remember him as one of the pioneers of country music, a genre of music made popular in Nigeria by Bongos Ikwue. A former Air Force officer, who passed out from the Air Force school with the likes of the late Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Ibrahim Alfa, Gentleman Ogosi, as the Asaba, Delta State born, is better known by friends and relations, has certainly paid his dues in the music industry.

A founding member of PMAN, Emma Ogosi is better known in the music industry for discovering Evi Edna- Ogholi, perhaps, one of the greatest female reggae musicians the country ever produced.

He was the pioneer General Secretary of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), who threw in the towel voluntarily and moved on with his career.

For the love of PMAN, Ogosi sacrificed a lot for the association such that it became the envy of colleagues.
