Thousands of people gathered in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on Friday for a rally in support of Similanayi Fubara, governor of the state, amid his rift with his predecessor, Nyesom Wike.
Commercial activities have been disrupted in Port Harcourt main town as thousands of people trooped out in a peaceful solidarity rally.
As early ad 7 a.m, several groups from students union, civil liberty organizations to the Hausa community among others, occupied the Government House main gate along Azikiwe Road.
